What are the signs of a leak in my car?

One of the tell-tail signs that you might have a leak in your car is condensation and steamed up windows on cold days. You may also smell a damp, musty smell.

Condensation can lead to electrical problems as moisture gets into connectors or controller boxes. You may find you start to have minor issues such as electric windows not working or warning lights on your dashboard coming on for things like seatbelts or airbags. 

Damp from condensation can also lead to mould, which can smell and might be able to see. Check under your seats, in dark corners or on seatbelts.

If you see any of these signs you could have a leak and should investigate to see if water is pooling under the carpets.
